Paris Agreement

As a result of the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 21) held in Paris, France, the Paris Agreement is a "legally binding international treaty on climate change" which was signed by 196 parties and aims at limiting global warming to well below 2°C, preferably 1.5°C, compared to pre-industrial times.
