Reducing (Transition elements)
Reducing is one of the four types of shifts that is described by Transition elements. It describes a general decrease in the amount of operations needed to carry out an activity. For example optimising the load factor of light goods and heavy goods vehicles describes a decrease in the total amount of work to transport a given volume of goods.
